Dawn Series

The "Dawn Series" is a series of installation pieces based on the experiences of the artist herself who experienced insomnia. It visually unravels the journey of thoughts the artist went through while lying in bed from 11:00 PM to 5:00 AM. This series consists of four pieces and installations, each depicting the characteristics of thoughts that emerged at specific timestamps.  These thoughts are represented through the forms, movements, and audio of kinetic installations, composed of symbolic representations. The installations are named “Engrossed in the Vague Thing” (11:00 PM), “Wandering Aimlessly”(1:00 AM), "Quivering Frailly " (2:00 AM), and "Submerged in the Blue Dawn Listening to the Morning Birds" (5:00 AM). They were exhibited at Gallery 13.1 in Seoul, South Korea, in October 2021.
